REIMAGINING PACKAGING
NOZE by AirWick

Designed by Min Kyuwon

Air Wick is a globally recognized brand specializing in air fresheners and home fragrance products. Established in 1943 in the United States by inventor Guy S. Paschal, it was among the first odor eliminators that combined functionality with aesthetic appeal, leaving homes smelling clean and fresh. Today, Air Wick is owned by the British multinational company Reckitt and is available in over 80 countries worldwide.

This project was a two-week-long initiative where we redesigned the packaging of an existing brand to better suit the Gen Z market and created a TikTok advertisement to promote it.

PACKAGING

Illustrator, Photoshop, Printed on A3 paper, 2 April, 2025

Air Wick’s current target audience consists mainly of people in their 30s and older—
those who want to make their space smell pleasant at an affordable price. It’s a perfect fit for that demographic.

However, things change when the target shifts to Gen Z. Looking at popular cosmetic
products among Gen Z, we notice a clear trend: minimal colors or soft gradients dominate,
and there’s a stronger focus on visual aesthetics rather than just functionality.

With that insight, our redesign prioritizes simplicity in the overall look.
Still, to ensure users can easily identify the scent, we included a clear image
at the top of the packaging that visually represents the fragrance.
